In order to qualify for free ECO4 grant funding from the government, you must meet both of the following criteria:

Child Tax Credit
Housing Benefit
Income Support
Universal Credit
Working Tax Credit
Income Based Job Seekers Allowance

Income Related Employment & Support Allowance
Pension Credit Savings Credit
Pension Credit Guarantee Credit

IMPORTANT: If you do not meet both of the above criteria, ECO4 grant funding will not be an available option to upgrade for your home. However, you may qualify for other upgrades – we will check what other upgrades you are eligible for.

Understanding ECO4 Funding: How is the government-backed ECO4 scheme achieving this, and do I qualify?

The ECO4 Funding scheme represents a pivotal advancement in the UK’s commitment to energy efficiency and reducing household carbon footprints. This initiative, designed to support low-income households, offers a unique opportunity to upgrade home energy systems without the financial burden. In short, ECO4 funding covers the cost of making your home more energy efficient.

The grant is targeted at properties that fall within efficiency bands E, F, and G and can be used to install or upgrade cavity wall insulation to a higher efficiency and well ventilated one, central heating improvements, and loft insulation.
